Greater Allegheny Men's Basketball Sitting in 11th in Week Eight of USCAA Coaches Polls

Newport News, Va. - With a Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) record of 9-2, 11-9 overall, the Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team slips a little to be tied for 11th place in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), Men's Basketball Division II Coaches Poll through week eight of action.

With the 96-83 PSUAC drop to Wilkes-Barre, Greater Allegheny slips to be tied at 11th with NHTI.

On the list for the fifth time this season, the men sat in 10th for week six and seven. The men started receiving votes in week three, moved to 20th in week four and then to 11th in week five.

GA is still holding down the second Penn State University Athletic Conference seed, just after Penn State Mont Alto, who is sitting in third for the fifth-straight week. Fayette is just two votes behind Greater Allegheny this week.

With 278 votes, Greater Allegheny is now sitting actually one game lower after Saturday afternoon's Penn State Mont Alto drop at home, 84-72.

The men are now set to finish out the remainder of their regular season on the road for the final four games of the PSUAC schedule. On Tuesday, the men and women are set for a double-header at Beaver as the weekend brings Hazleton and Schuylkill. The men are set to finish out the schedule against Brandywine on Monday the 15th.

Congratulations to the men for their hard-work and dedication through the record-breaking season thus far.
