GA Men's Hoops Remain in 7th in USCAA Coaches Poll

Newport News, Va. - Despite knocking off a pair of huge United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) ranked teams, the Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team somehow still remains in 7th place overall in the USCAA Coaches Poll for week four.

December 17th brought SUNY Delhi, USCAA Men's Basketball Division II ranked 13th. Greater Allegheny took them in a one-point decision, 83-82 Greater Allegheny.

The following day, Greater Allegheny went up against USCAA Men's Basketball Division I #13 The Apprentice School. The Lions slid to a 66-61 triumph, advancing their overall record to 9-4, 3-1 PSUAC.

The men took a break for the holidays and look forward to their second semester of action, hunkering down on their Penn State University Athletic Conference schedule.

GA opens up with Penn State Wilkes-Barre, January 13th, as the men hope to crack the top five teams in the poll.

The men earned seventh place with 264 total votes.
