Newport News, Va. - Just before the 100-84 Penn State Lehigh Valley triumph Friday night, the Penn State Greater Allegheny men's basketball team was ranked fifth, tied with Penn State York, in week six of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Men's Basketball Division II Coaches Poll.
Through two Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) road victories, Greater Allegheny managed to take Penn State Wilkes-Barre 66-58 before winning over Penn State Worthington-Scranton, 78-67. The Lions took another road-trip, Tuesday, as they earned a win over Penn State New Kensington, 88-72.
The men received 269 votes in the two-spot jump, as the Lions currently sit 13-4, 7-1 PSUAC before the contest against Penn State Brandywine, Saturday afternoon.
Follow the men as they continue their PSUAC Championship run, this afternoon, against Brandywine. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. Tuesday brings rival, Penn State Fayette, to Wunderley Gymnasium. Tip-off for the match is 8 p.m.
