Jordon Payne Swipes Final Regular Season USCAA Men’s Division II Basketball Player of the Week

Newport News, Va. - With not only the Penn State University Athletic Conference Championship under his belt, but also a Most Valuable Player award, sophomore guard Jordon Payne (McKeesport, Pa./McKeesport) earned the final regular season award for the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Men's Division II Basketball Player of the Week.

Jordon contributed a total of 45 points, eleven rebounds, five assists and three steals through the final two games of the season.

The second-seeded Lions defeated top-seeded Penn State York for the title, 60-58, with the momentum of Payne's 29 total points, six three-pointers, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal.
