White Oak, Pa. - While the first half was held to zero on both sides of the ball, the Penn State Greater Allegheny men's soccer team fell to Penn State New Kensington, Tuesday night, by a margin of 4-0.
Four minutes into the second half, congestion in front of the net rolled into a 1-0 New Kensington lead. Five minutes from there, New Ken's Ryan Stanga got an indirect kick before he found the head of Erick Nishimwe, 2-0 New Ken.
After attention was skewed after a yellow-card, New Kensington's Cole Wilson took a breakaway goal to put Greater Allegheny down 3-0.
With six minutes remaining in the game, freshman goalkeeper Prakash Wagley (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) stopped a shot but could not get up fast enough, as Wilson was there to crash the net and hammer it into the back of the mesh, solidifying New Kensington's shutout victory at a 4-0 deficit.
