GA Softball's Lacie Lautner Named PSUAC Pitcher of the Week

University Park, Pa. - With three wins on the mound for the Penn State Greater Allegheny women's softball team, freshman right-handed pitcher Lacie Lautner (Pleasant Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) has earned the Penn State University Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 18th, 2017.

With an overall earned run average of 2.08 on the week, Lautner appeared in 30 1/3 innings, sitting down 40 of her 93 batters faced down on strike out. Lautner penned a 3-1 week, starting two of those four games.

Lautner comprised of 24 total catches, eight put-outs and 14 assists in the field.

Currently, Lacie leads the PSUAC in overall earned run average with 2.15, alongside sitting second in overall strike-outs with 71.

With those stats she finds herself tied for third place in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) in ERA and in fifth place with strike-outs.
