Latrobe, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny women's and men's cross country teams raced in the 2014 Saint Vincent Cross Country Invitational, Saturday morning.
Sophomore Rachel Ramsey (North Versailles, Pa./East Allegheny) was the first woman finisher for Greater Allegheny, as she came in 42nd place with a time of 22:25.6. Freshman Amanda Trimble registered a time of 27:25.1, placing 103rd. Freshman Huiying Qin completed the race in 31:41.7 and freshman Binrui Qin finished just two places after her teammate with a time of 32:49.6.
Greater Allegheny's men's team only raced freshman Codie Buglar (Elizabeth, Pa./Yough), as he completed the race in 36:16.7, sitting at 100th place.
Greater Allegheny looks to travel to the Pitt-Greensburg Invitational hosted by Westmoreland County Community College, October 4th. The women are set to begin at 9 a.m.
