McKeesport, Pa- What has been a tough season all along, ended in the same fashion Monday night, as the Greater Allegheny men's basketball team lost 78-59 to Westminster. The loss marks GA's 11th straight to end the year.
Junior Center John Schmid (Glenbard West) was the lone GA player in double-figures, scoring 13 points on 6-10 shooting. Sophomore Forward David Caparosa (Woodland Hills) added 9, while Junior Guard Mike McCarthy (Sto Rox) scored 8. As a team, the GA men shot 24-60 (40%) from the field, but went 0-10 from behind the arc.
To end the season, the Greater Allegheny men struggled to a 5-20 record, while going just 3-14 in the PSUAC.
