McKeesport, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's soccer team welcomed Penn State University Athletic Conference opponent, Penn State York, Saturday, where GA saw a 4-1 drop.
Penn State York was able to notch four goals before Greater Allegheny got on the board. Sophomore forward Manoj Sharma (Pittsburgh, Pa./Baldwin) proved himself in a one v one situation with the goaltender, netting a goal in the lower left corner of the net.
Freshman goalkeeper Alex Wood (Rochville, Md./St. John's College) saw nine shots on goal, saving four.
Greater Allegheny (1-3, 0-1 PSUAC) looks onward to Tuesday, as they welcome Thiel College to Francis McClure Middle School. Kick-off is set for 4 p.m., after the women's contest.
