McKeesport, Pa- The Lady Lions fell behind early in the game, and lost to Bennett College 84-51 in their first game of the Penn State Greater Allegheny Basketball Classic.
Senior Forward Rachel Halaszynski (Elizabeth Forward) led the team with 24 points along with 6 rebounds. Freshman Guard Taylor McCallister (Norwin) also held her own with 13 points and 11 rebounds throughout the game.
The Lady Lions will continue with the Classic tomorrow, November 19, against Lourdes College at 1:00 PM.
