Houghton, NY- Sophomore guard Taylor Fulton (West Mifflin, PA) scored 20+ points for the second straight game to lead the Greater Allegheny women's basketball team to a 45-40 win over Geneva in the Turkey Drive Classic.
The GA women held a commanding 25-11 advantage at the half, but saw their lead quickly dwindle down to just three, 43-40, before a Fulton jump shot sealed the win at 45-40. She tallied 22 points on the day, to go along with seven rebounds and three assists. Sophomore forward Christina Floyd (Philadelphia, PA) was two points shy of her third double-double already this season, with eight points and 12 rebounds.
The victory evens the Greater Allegheny women's record at 2-2 overall. GA will now take 11 days off, before returning to the court November 28 for a 6 PM, non-conference game against CCAC-Boyce.
