Greater Allegheny Wrestling Hosts Home Opening Tri-Match
McKeesport, Pa. - The Penn State Greater Allegheny men's wrestling team hosted both Penn State Mont Alto and Seton Hill at home for a tri-match on Tuesday evening.
Greater Allegheny and Mont Alto sparred up first to begin the events. With larger numbers, Mont Alto outscored GA 48-3 to close the first match.
Seton Hill and Penn State Mont Alto went head-to-head to play the second match. Seton Hill then wrestled Penn State Greater Allegheny to end the night. Seton Hill controlled the match, as GA fell 46-6.
With the defeat, Greater Allegheny holds a 0-3 record for the season. The team looks onward as they travel to Penn State New Kensington for a tournament on November 16.
