Women's Volleyball Triumphs Over Penn College in Suicide Awareness Month Game, 3-1

MCKEESPORT, Pa. — Penn State Greater Allegheny Women's Volleyball team secured a 3-1 victory over Penn College at Wunderley Gymnasium during their Suicide Awareness Month Game. Tiona Gullen led the charge, earning Player of the Game honors with 8 kills.

The Lions took control early, winning the first set 25-19 and the second 25-23. Despite a setback in the third set, losing 25-22, Greater Allegheny bounced back to dominate the fourth set 25-18, closing out the match in style.

Gullen's offensive performance was backed by strong defensive efforts, including 31 digs from Hannah Kessler and 11 team blocks, which helped the Lions outlast a determined Penn College side. With the win, Greater Allegheny improves to 2-3 on the season, showcasing resilience and teamwork in a match dedicated to raising awareness for an important cause.
